Pierre-Hugues Herbert has revealed he’s not vaccinated towards coronavirus and won’t be enjoying at subsequent month’s Australian Open.

Event officers final month confirmed that each one gamers should be vaccinated with the intention to compete in Melbourne with the event beginning on Monday, January 17.

Herbert was quoted as telling France’s L’Alsace: “Personally, I’m not vaccinated and the journey to Australia was not an possibility for me.

“It’s sure that from the second after I couldn’t go there with out being vaccinated, it essentially difficult issues. And there’s not solely Australia. In the present day, there’s america, Austria…It’s a relatively complicated subject.

“However, it’s a private selection to not get the vaccine.”

Herbert and fellow Frenchman Nicolas Mahut had been champions within the males’s doubles on the 2019 Australian Open.
